Roadside Cleanup

We battled the wind and conquered the garbage! Thanks to everyone who came out and cleaned up the roads. We raised over $700 for the library!

Library Closure

The Library will be closed Saturday May 18th and Monday May 20th for the May Long Weekend! We will be open as per usual on Tuesday May 21st

This Day in History

1936-05-19 : Cynthia Ann Parker is kidnapped

During a raid, Commanche, Kiowa, and Caddo Indians in Texas kidnap nine-year-old Cynthia Ann Parker and kill her family. Adopted into the Commanche tribe, she lived a happy life until Texas Rangers recaptured her and forced her to return to live again among Anglo-Americans.
