Welcome to Beaverlodge Public Library
Welcome to the new website of the Beaverlodge Public Library. We are located on Main Street at 406 - 10 Street right beside the Police Station.
Come visit us at the Library to read one of our local newspapers while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea in our lounge area, browse through our stacks of books or surf the net on one of our 3 internet stations, or bring your own as we have wireless connection.
Community Spirit Program
Did you know that if you donate more to registered charities like the Friends of the Beaverlodge Library, you have an opportunity to receive a higher tax credit on your income tax return? As part of the Alberta government's new Community Spirit Program, an enhanced charitable tax credit will allow you to do just that. Through this tax credit, when the provincial and federal charitable tax credits are combined, Albertans now receive a 50 per cent non-refundable tax credit for every dollar donated over $200.
If you make a donation to a Canada Revenue Agency-registered charity, you will receive a non-refundable charitable tax credit when you complete your annual income tax return.
More support from you also means there is a greater opportunity for the Friends of the Beaverlodge Library to obtain a provincial grant to support our work in the community. The donation grant component of the Community Spirit Program allows our organization to apply for a grant based on the amount of money donated by individual Albertans over a 12-month period. The more funds we raise, the better chance we have of receiving a grant to support our operations, as well as the delivery of programs and services.
Your donation counts! Through your support you are helping our community become stronger and more vibrant.
